This statement covers the talestep.com marketing website. Talestep is a company that builds accessible audio tours, so we hold this site itself to the same standard.

Our target

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML throughout, with headings in a single logical order
• A visible keyboard focus style on every interactive element
• Colour contrast checked against the site's own palette, including every use of teal text against its background
• Full alt text on every image, and a real transcript style description of what each screenshot shows
• Support for reduced motion: anyone with that operating system setting sees the page without animation
• Minimum touch target sizes on buttons and links
• Manual testing with a keyboard only, and with a screen reader

What we have not done yet

This site has been checked with automated tools and by testing it ourselves. It has not yet been audited by an external accessibility specialist or tested with visitors who use assistive technology day to day. We would like to do both.
